Reflection Builds Awareness of Our Inner Self

surrendering our joys, worries & pains to the lord daily

Reflection and Journaling

Inner peace is very important because it gets manifested in our behavior and actions. Inner peace is difficult to achieve. It requires a concerted effort on our part together with a degree of discipline. A good place to start is to read scripture daily and to make time to sit quietly for about 2 to 3 times a week. We can start small with perhaps just a few verses of the Bible and 10 – 15 minutes of quiet time. During this quiet time, reflect on what the scripture means to you and be aware of the issues that are going on in your life. Try to identify the root cause of the issues and lift it up to God asking him to help you resolve it in a way that would be pleasing to him.

In AdventHub, we share ideas and resources on how to attain inner peace so we can enjoy the communion and peace that we deeply desire.

Peace flows from within us

“Every human being desire communion and peace. Everyone needs peaceful co-existence. But this can grow only when we also build inner peace in our heart. Many people live in a constant hurry. In this way all that they have inside them tends to be overwhelmed.” ~ Pope Francis ~
