What a wonderful assurance!! Our God is a God of love. He will never forsake us or abandon us. In times of pain and grief, it may seem like God is very distant. However, the reality is that God is ever present and waiting for us to call on him. He will never compromise the freedom he has given us and will not intervene without our permission. We just need to turn to him and surrender ourselves to him.
Today, recall one incident when you called on the Lord and he answered you. It doesn’t matter how long ago that incident happened, give him praise for coming to your aid.
